Join a mission-critical team shaping the future of air combat. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force’s newest fighter aircraft—the F-47 Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) platform. This role is pivotal in developing and integrating mission planning software that will define how the Department of Defense conducts operations for the next 30 years. What You’ll Do: + Design, develop, test, and maintain software across the full development lifecycle. + Collaborate with Product Owners to analyze and translate customer requirements into innovative software solutions. + Develop and optimize software products and functionalities for seamless systems integration. + Document and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs. + Debug and resolve software issues to ensure high reliability and performance. + Troubleshoot technical challenges and contribute to continuous process improvement. Basic Qualifications: + Active Secret Clearance + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. + 9+ years of experience in software development. + Proficiency in C# and .NET. + Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket). + Familiarity with software development patterns: microservices, REST APIs, Mono Repos, Mono DBs, and Single Page Applications (SPA). + Experience working in large-scale Agile environments. + Strong background in system architecture, requirements definition, and software testing. + Experience with TypeScript, ReactJS, and Redux. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with Mission Planning Systems or defense-related software development. An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
