Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Title: Software Quality Assurance EngineerJob Description The Software / Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining standards for software and hardware operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures. The engineer will support manufacturing, assembly, integration, configuration management, materials selection, and test activities. Responsibilities + Develop and modify standards for software and hardware operating methods. + Maintain processes, systems, and procedures. + Support manufacturing, assembly, and integration activities. + Manage configuration and materials selection. + Perform traceability, unit testing, regression testing, static analysis, and materials analysis. + Ensure compliance with customer requirements for SW & HW Quality Assurance. Essential Skills + Understanding of ISO 9001 standards. + Experience with hardware, PCB, and software. + Knowledge of configuration management. + BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. + 2+ years performing PA/QA technical requirements. Additional Skills & Qualifications + ISO 9001 certification. + QA duties involving both software & hardware/electronics. + Space/defense experience preferred or experience in other regulated environments. Work Environment The work environment offers a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on quality experiences with both software and hardware. The individual will lead the quality team. This role involves working on multiple programs including defense, Artemis, and Gateway, with 50% of the time spent in the lab. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
