**Job Title: Solderer/Assembly** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled solderer to work on experimental circuitry and prototype models, following engineering instructions and technical manuals. The role involves setting up test apparatus, conducting various performance tests, and analyzing test data to ensure reliability and functionality. **Responsibilities** + Solder experimental circuitry and complete prototype models according to engineering instructions and technical manuals. + Set up standard test apparatus or devise test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests. + Evaluate the performance and reliability of prototype or production models. + Analyze, interpret, and archive test data. + Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry and components while recording effects on unit performance. + Operate bench lathes, drills, or other machine tools to fabricate parts such as coils, terminal boards, and chassis. + Adhere to all safety standards and requirements. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in soldering techniques. + Experience with electronic assembly and hand soldering. + Knowledge of PCB assembly and electrical components. + Familiarity with SN96, SN63, PB85 soldering materials. + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. + Experience in using microscopes and hand tools. + Understanding of the J standard. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1-3 years of experience in electrical assembly and soldering. + Basic soldering experience is sufficient; candidates will be assessed through a simple soldering test. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading upstream energy services company with a rich history and strong financial foundation. The shift runs from 6am to 4:30pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
