We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Smart Infrastructure business unit for an experienced and motivated sales leader. The role will be working within the Buildings business, based in our Brisbane, QLD office.
Reporting to the Sales Head, this role will be responsible for the growth targets of our direct solutions business across Australia and New Zealand.
The primary function is to achieve annual sales targets within targeted vertical markets. Leading a national team of business development professionals across the Building Automation and Security domains, you will co-develop opportunities, define winning bid strategies and engage the wider Buildings organisation in project pursuits. Your key responsibilities will include, yet not limited to:
- Supports strategic key customers' business development. - Directly supports Sales Professionals in customer visits and negotiations. - Acts as first level of escalation for respective cases and issues. - Drives execution of sales initiatives, sales competencies - Ensure sales team is evolving to sell customers outcomes leveraging digital portfolio capabilities - Leads and coaches an assigned team of Sales Professionals. - Ensures adherence to sales guidelines and processes and ensures achievements of the targets set. - Plans sales budgets for the portfolio sales team and regularly monitors the achievements in the assigned area. - Ensure consistent and accurate sales forecast. - Ensures an effective sales organization for assigned portfolio - May maintain own assigned customers or territories for assigned portfolios including forecasting and achievement of budget
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with experience in a selling role and be able to demonstrate a successful track record. Having a technical appreciation of security or building automation systems is beneficial but not required.
You must be able to communicate effectively and be able to build strong relationships at all levels internally and within customer organisations.
