The Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Center for Women’s Health & Wellness offers a new model for women’s healthcare on the Seacoast. The center brings together expert OB/GYN physicians and midwives, with specialists in maternal fetal medicine, along with nurse navigators to help women manage all aspects of their care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sonographer to support our Women's Health and Maternal Fetal Medicine offices at Center for Women’s Health and Wellness. 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday and Friday in the Portsmouth location, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the Dover location.


Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of Women's Health patients.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate ultrasound protocols.
Ensure the flawless operation of ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Strictly adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.


 

Qualifications

 Required:

Graduate from an approved ultrasound training program, registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)(RDMS).

ARDMS within 1 year.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within the first 90 days of employment.

Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative manner.
