Spa Assistant Manager
Position Objective:

To assist in the daily operation, coordination, and administration of the spa and wellness center, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction while supporting the Spa Manager in achieving revenue targets and maintaining staff performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily spa operations in the absence or under the direction of the Spa Manager.

Supervise spa staff to ensure adherence to service protocols, operational procedures, and guest service standards.

Assist in scheduling, assigning duties, and monitoring staff performance.

Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members, fostering a positive and service-oriented environment.

Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Monitor inventory levels of spa products, linens, and supplies; place orders and control usage as needed.

Ensure all areas of the spa — treatment rooms, reception, relaxation lounges, and locker rooms — maintain cleanliness, order, and ambiance in accordance with established standards.

Assist in the implementation of promotional offers, spa packages, and retail sales strategies.

Support the Spa Manager in the development of new treatments, services, and guest experiences.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Assist with monthly reports, revenue analysis, and operational summaries for management review.

Coordinate staff training sessions to uphold and improve service and operational standards.

Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling, payroll assistance, and inventory management.

Stay updated with spa industry trends, products, and techniques.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a spa, wellness center, or luxury hotel environment.

Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of spa services, treatments, and product retailing.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and spa management software (preferred).

First Aid and CPR certification (desirable).

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
