Special Education Teacher

Position Overview: 

Providing support to High School  (9-12th grade) high risk students. Must have a high degree of adaptability and flexibility. Familiar and committed to our target population. Flexible and adaptable to reaching out and helping high truancy students return to school and succeed. Understand the barriers of poverty, homelessness, learning deficits, family insecurity and the efforts staff must make to succeed with our students.

Qualifications: 

IL Teaching Certificate and PEL w/ LBS1(learning behavior specialist) through grade 12 Prior experience in Special Education preferred
