Job Overview:

The Special Procedure Technologist performs proper radiographic procedures as required by physician orders. Provides patient service using diagnostic, portable and fluoroscopic equipment. The Technologist is competent in the production of quality radiographs for proper treatment and diagnosis by physician.

Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate of approved School of Radiologic TechnologyLicensed by the State of New Jersey, Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistBLS through the American Heart AssociationSuccessful completion of department specific orientation

Scheduling Requirements:

Evening shiftPer DiemScheduling will vary based on the needs of the department

Essential Functions:

Assist radiologist with special examinationsResponsible for routine and stat casesIR on call if needed
