Specialty Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor Job Details Job Location Adelante Healthcare Center Support Office - Phoenix, AZ Position Type Full Time Education Level Master's degree Job Category Health Care Description POSITION SUMMARY The Specialty Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing the Associate level Therapists. The SBH Clinical Supervisor will complete all clinical supervision (direct and indirect) and document all supervisory sessions. They will sign off on the Associate Level providers charts and if appropriate give necessary feedback to the provider. They will keep a patient care day allowing them to continue to serve our clients in the health centers and work with other internal and external resources in meeting/achieving client service needs. OUR CORE VALUES + Compassion + Excellence + Integrity + Learning + Respect + Sustainability Qualifications ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: + Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health field, required + Independent licensure in Behavioral Health field, required + Minimum of one (1) to five (5) years of behavioral health experience, required + Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with State AHCCCS and Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) clients, preferred + Complete/completed AZBBHE required training for clinical supervision and be a board approved supervisor + Experience in clinical supervision highly preferred + Excellent customer service skills + Excellent computer skills in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) + Experience with using an Electronic Health Record (EMR) system + Strong time management skills + Knowledge of Arizona Department of Health Services requirements + Thorough knowledge of current versions of DSM and ICD + Ability to support, train, and supervise a team of associate level therapists + Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices + Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred + Valid Arizona driver’s license + Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations) + Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations POSITION REPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL: + Participate as the primary source of support and training for the Associate Therapists. + Provide oversight and clinical supervision to Associate Therapists including case reviews, one on one and group supervision, chart sign off and mid/annual reviews. + Participate in regular interdisciplinary staff meetings. + Help Associate Therapists develop appropriate service delivery skills with providers and clients as the means for implementing applicable services and developing effective alliances with clients. + Assist SBH Manager with tracking of data, including the generation of reports that will allow follow-through on quality of care. + Establish and maintain partnerships in the community. + Provide direct client services to individuals and/or family members. Services provided may include intake, individual/couples/family therapy, and/or group therapy. + Provide on-going supportive and/or therapeutic functions in accordance with the problems, needs and the strategies identified by the client or the provider to assist the client to achieve whole health. + Provide clinical supervision with the staff in accordance with AZBBHE regulations. Ensures staff are comfortable and confident in therapeutic process and modalities. + Document all service contacts on a timely basis including face-to-face interviews, collateral and networking contacts, correspondence and maintains the case records in accordance with internal and regulatory standards requirements. + Maintain close communication with the consulting psychiatric providers and the Specialty Behavioral Health team. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Behavioral Health leadership team, which are consistent with the position and in compliance with Adelante Healthcare policies and procedures.
