SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST Position: Speech Therapist Department: Speech Therapy Reports to: Department Director Created: 4/10/25 Job Summary Maintains minimum requirements of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current MS SLP license, and current Certificate of Clinical Competence or CFY. Provides direct and indirect patient care for adult and pediatric patients in a variety of settings to include performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing appropriate treatment, and planning discharge per standards set by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Communicates with physicians, nurses, dieticians, social workers, co-workers, and caretakers regarding patient assessment, recommendations, plan and prognosis.
