Sr Facilities Manager

Responsibilities The Sr Facilities Manager is responsible for the oversight of proper repair, maintenance and safety of all areas and equipment within the property. They are additionally responsible for ensuring that the grounds look clean and well kept and the overall property presentation meets set standards. They also schedule, coach, train, counsel, and review engineering, grounds and security teams keeping staff under their Supervision as well as perform oversight of outside contractors doing work on CR property. This position reports to the Hotel Director. Operations: 35% Repairs and maintains the Facility, equipment and devices therein. Sets an example in productivity and professionalism. Completes Preventive Maintenance work, including the monitoring, control and performance of scheduled Preventative Maintenance on all systems. Establish and maintain position critical standards and procedures and efficiency standards. Ensures that grounds are well kept. Ensures that security team is following safety protocols. Manages department level programs including production checklists, financial controls, and inventories. Ensures that all areas operate within budget constraints.Administrative: Oversight of payroll processing, department schedules to ensure communicated in a timely mannger and in line with department expenses, monthly review of financial commentary for departments, creation of annual budgets for departments, and ongoing and regular documented training for team. Staff Supervision: 30% Responsible for the supervision of engineering, grounds keeping and security staff, including training, coaching, counseling, work schedules and performance evaluations. Communication: 20% Regular and effective communication with General Manager and property management team. Participates in property meetings ensuring that information is effectively communicated with appropriate departments providing smooth operation of department and facility. Safety: 15% Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures; reports and resolves maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications. Adheres to the Canyon Ranch Facility Lock and Key policies and procedures. Promotes safety and security through strict adherence to Facility Security and Safety policies and procedures. Eliminates hazards and/or safety violations. Knows and is able to teach the proper shut-down and start-up procedures for all utilities. Has thorough knowledge of the fire suppression systems and the fire/emergency alarm systems. Supports the property’s Hazard Communication Program including SDS, product labeling, storing and handling of materials etc. Responsible for PPE (personal protection equipment) use and daily maintenance. Ensures proper documentation of any work related injury is completed accurately and within established timeframes Qualifications Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Associate degree or two-year equivalent specialized training or experience required. CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of employment Drivers License and acceptable driving record to meet Group B Driving Requirements
