Sr Logistics Analyst (Pending Contract Award)

Description:

The Sr. Logistics Analyst will function as the data collection focal supporting the Logistics Integration Support (LIS) Program located at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) in Albany, GA. In this role, the Sr. Logistics Analyst will support the identification and implementation of process changes to improve support to the Government customer. The Sr. Logistics Analyst will also work with the customer on daily and monthly reporting functions, forecasting of material levels, reporting material status, and preparing briefs, and will have the management parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Maintain reports and perform administrative and technical duties that require knowledge of the department, facility, and the company along with current policies, practices, and proceduresPerform diversified duties including reports preparation, data collection, trend analysis, reconciliation reports, and business and process documentationFollow administrative processes within the site and make recommendations to implement process improvementsMay work on confidential or sensitive information, typically of a technical or proprietary naturePossess thorough knowledge of site and Company policies and proceduresEstablish and maintain effective work relationships within the department, the company, and the communityMaintain professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilitiesUse various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate, and/or format data and/or reportsAll other duties as assigned

Bachelors’ degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least 5 years’ Logistics systems experience requiredAdvanced Microsoft Word, Excel requiredMicrosoft Access skills preferredU.S. military logistics experience preferredMILSTRIP, MILSTRAP, DLMS experience preferredEmbody the core competencies of strategic management, being connected and respectful, having a diverse mindset, building relationships and partnerships, being transformational, building confidence and integrity, and maintaining focus and accountability
