What You Will Do
Lead a global team of Analysts (US and Bangalore), who work through corporate level initiatives and provide Category specific support across all 15 Merchandising Divisions
Actively work to identify improvements to data insights and discover processes with the intent to improve proficiency and reduce effort in data management and consumption by creating repeatable and automated processes.
Act as the centralized funnel for all Category level data reporting requests and needs. Work with DACI as primary partner for new and incremental needs.
Champion digital priorities and focus areas with digital business and partner teams
Effectively communicate with different audiences, often executive leadership, both written and verbally. Lead building of materials that are shared with stakeholders and regularly present those to different audiences.
Drive continuous improvement by providing insights, based on the review of weekly category performance reporting.
Responsible for staying up to speed on performance to share these insights and resulting actions with senior cross-functional leadership.
Provide continuous, open feedback and mentorship to team members to encourage their growth and assist them in learning new tools, skills and techniques
Train and develop the talent necessary to achieve stated objectives while providing meaningful development opportunities for individuals in preparation for succession planning
Collaborate and maintain relationships at the senior leadership level with cross-functional groups such as Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Pro as well as other teams within digital commerce.
Use insights, competitive benchmarking, and previous experience to define strategies for delivering assigned portfolio of work.
Define multi-year roadmap for assigned portfolio of work.
Ensure the Digital data strategy aligns and supports with the Category Team’s needs, objectives and standards
Partner across Customer Intelligence teams to ensure compliance with established data analytics processes, roles, quality criteria, and performance metrics.
Foster the analysis & distillation of Category and Brand specific complex digital data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Business or a related field
8 Years relevant experience
Online / Retail Merchandising / Vendor Management / Digital Marketing
Experience leading teams of direct reports
Preferred Skills/Education
Master's Degree MBA or related field
