Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Spokane, Washington. In this role, you will oversee essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in reconciliation, ledger management, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations, to ensure financial accuracy. • Manage the general ledger by maintaining accurate records and reviewing entries. • Prepare and post journal entries to support month-end and year-end closing processes. • Conduct month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to maintain and analyze financial data. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and improve accounting processes. • Develop and implement best practices for financial controls and procedures. • Analyze financial statements and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. • Assist in audits and compliance reviews by preparing necessary documentation and reports. • Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
