Sr. Ad Sales Financial Analyst

AMP / Sinclair Sports Group is seeking a talented, enthusiastic **Sr. Ad Sales Financial Analyst** to join a growing team responsible for Ad Sales Revenue, Reporting and Modeling. This role is based in NYC and will be a hybrid role.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who can work both independently and collaboratively. Who takes initiative, problem solves, is a critical thinker and enjoys Sports! As a key team member, you will be integral in the constant innovation of our business processes and reporting. The role covers support for advertising on linear /digital (Tennis Channel Tennis Channel.com, DTC and Owned and operated podcast division ( The Triple Option, Throwbacks, BFFR, Unfiltered Soccer ) properties to support from pre-sale to post sale.
+ Support monthly and quarterly close processes through accurate pacing updates, variance analysis, standard reporting packages and balance sheet account reconciliations
+ Work on all key planning cycles including Ad Sales budgeting and short term forecasts
+ Pacing forecasting use of managing finance and operations files and templates
+ Stewardship tracking – responsible for tracking linear liability
+ Strategic insights to business directions based on the driving KPI’s
+ Partner closely with department leaders (i.e. Finance, Ad Sales, Planning, Operations and Marketing) to collect and effectively monitor financials, oversee variance commentary and report to on financial performance, and key metrics
+ Partner with finance leadership on ad hoc reporting needs and analysis
+ Take initiative and be proactive in identifying and implementing ways to further simplify, automate & standardize processes across all areas
+ Contribute to presentations to co-CEOs and Board meeting and perform ad hoc analyses, providing insightful views into business operations and financial performance
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with PowerPoint is a must
+ Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Effective interpersonal and communication skills with experience in client-facing role
+ Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with an overall commitment to quality and accuracy
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to evaluate high volume of information & draw clear conclusions/recommendations
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment, while being able to operate independently and take initiative when needed
+ Flexible with changing priorities and a quick learner
**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
+ Knowledge of Ad sales Traffic systems a plus Wide Orbit, Broadway, COGNOS
+ Experience with Data visualization, such as Tableau, power BI
+ Knowledge of SQL and Python
+ Minimum 2+ Years of Experience in , Media , Finance, Consulting, or a Business Analytics related field

The base salary compensation range for this role is $75,000 to $105,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan
