Job Summary

The Senior Brand Standards Coach (SBSC) role is critical for elevating the growth and success of our franchise system. The SBSC’s primary function is facilitating Restaurant Operations Improvement Process (ROIP) evaluations. An additional function is supporting New Restaurant Openings (NROs). The SBSC leads a team of BSCs. The SBSC provides coaching and guidance to BSCs and is responsible for their BSC’s time management and ROIP frequency. The SBSC builds influence through strong operational knowledge and credibility with franchisees and their employees. They provide proactive, honest, and informative interactions during restaurant visits. They identify key areas for improvement related to operational efficiency and profitability. The SBSC upholds the core values and operational brand standards to protect and grow the Papa Johns' brand. The SBSC protects the Papa Johns' brand by driving operational improvement through the ROIP process. 

Duties & Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

Conduct ROIPs in restaurants to meet company goals for frequency

Understand, interpret, uphold, and enforce brand standards and operational policies and procedures

Support successful NROs

Perform franchise calibration visits as determined by the Brand Standards Department

Support the testing and roll-out of new products

Must be fluent in all aspects of the Management Development Program (MDP) and period promotion training and must conduct successful training of new team members for NROs

Influence improvement of operational results through restaurant optimization

Coach improvements in guest experience, product quality, training, and image to drive profitability

Provide hands-on training during evaluations and provide positive, constructive feedback as necessary

Efficiency in time and territory management 

Communicate on any areas of improvement identified during restaurant visits

Schedule all travel in the most cost-effective manner

Complete all responsible administrative functions and requirements of the role in a timely manner

Oversee a team of BSCs and provide them with general guidance and performance feedback as well as direction on time management and ROIP execution
