Key responsibilities: + Continue to develop and mature the Company's privacy program in a dynamic and evolving regulatory landscape. + Provide legal advice and counseling on US and international privacy compliance issues. + Provide legal advice and counseling on data governance, records management, and related legal issues. + Continue to develop and mature enterprise-wide record retention and data governance policies, procedures, and practices. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of record retention and data governance policies. + Coordinate with executive stakeholders to revise, review, and manage all BAE Systems policies. + Provide support on ad hoc requests, including: reviewing and drafting contracts; analyzing and interpreting laws and regulations; developing and implementing policies and procedures; and creating and delivering training programs **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Juris Doctor from an accredited law school + Minimum 7 years of experience as an attorney + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders + Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Two years of experience in Privacy Program Management + Certification in information governance, data privacy, or a related field (e.g., CIPM, CIPP, IGP) + Experience as in-house counsel + Experience in the aerospace and defense industry + Familiarity with data management and analytics tools (e.g., data mapping, data inventory) **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
