Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Automotive industry, based in Houston, Texas. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, your focus will be on developing and managing methodologies, systems, and processes that monitor and analyze dealer financial health and compliance. You will also be tasked with consulting with underperforming dealers, conducting financial analysis, and providing comprehensive business operations reports.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage methodologies, processes, and systems to track, monitor, and analyze dealer financial health and compliance with Accounting Standards.
• Consult with underperforming dealers and focus on areas such as sales performance, expense control, profit potential, and capital deficiencies.
• Perform financial analysis related to required ratios, capitalization, and profitability for dealer agreement renewals, ownership changes, buy/sells, and other actions as needed.
• Monitor dealer compliance with financial requirements policies and dealer agreement financial-related provisions.
• Provide comprehensive Business Operations reports and analysis that include dealer profitability, loss dealers, capital issues, composite analysis, and other key indicators.
• Ensure successful completion of the Dealer Financial Statement submission process each month.
• Promote increased dealer understanding of financial tracking and reporting; develop resource materials and training for dealers regarding the submission of accurate Financial Statements.
• Coordinate with relevant teams on annual review and updates to networking capital requirements and obtain dealer execution of Networking Capital Agreements.
• Participate in other projects as assigned.
• Utilize a variety of skills such as Business systems, Confluence, CRM, Crystal Reports, Data Mining Techniques, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst in the Automotive industry
• Proficiency in Business Systems
• Familiarity with Confluence
• Experience with CRM
• Ability to use Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques
• Familiarity with About Time
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Understanding of Budget Processes
• Knowledge in Capital Management
