Job Description

Owens-Brockway Glass Container, Inc. seeks in Toano, VA to be responsible for planning and execution of

job changes to improve manufacturing flexibility and drive continuous improvement in job change index.

Implement and refine improvement ideas to maximize the performance of the total operations. Drive the plant furnace to achieve the key performance goals. Align resources in the plant's personnel (operators and mechanics) to focus on all areas of the process center. Manage job change process to ensure the lowest negative impact on production. Responsible for all audit compliance for Quality, Safety, GMP, Procedures, Swabbing, and Forming. Ensure through audits that tools are appropriately and effectively used. Serve as a business change agent leading process improvement initiative, process redesign activities, and projects.

Qualifications

Must have High School Diploma (or foreign equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience in glass manufacturing. The five (5) years of experience must include five (5) years in leading personnel, and (5) years applying Lean Six Sigma. All experience may be acquired concurrently.

Domestic travel required, to be reimbursed by the employer. In addition, standard benefits will be offered.

Work Hours: Full time (40 hours/week, 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri)

The expected salary for this position is $111,946.00 – $115,000.00 per year.
