Reporting to the Procurement Director you will support strategic sourcing activities that may include functions within Marketing, Sales, Research & Development, Food Safety Quality & Regulatory, and Foodservice groups. You'll provide innovative sourcing strategies to meet current and future needs of the businesses supported by the function. This includes supporting agency/vendor relationships in collaboration with the business teams and other organizations supported, developing a clear knowledge of supplier capabilities in evolving spaces, securing engagement through data-driven business cases, gaining agreement from business partners, leading teams through the execution of category initiatives, researching and benchmarking external agency data to ensure best practice analysis and implementation, leading contract negotiations and collaborations with company partners and performing and coordinating risk and financial analysis of suppliers.
Position Responsibilities
Plan and organize activities related to the categories of spend managed.Prepare contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreementsNegotiate complex requests for materials or services.Ensure that strategies are up to date for all major areas.Foster relationships with business partners. Understand goals and our needs to provide value to company partnersProvide ongoing industry insight.Manage appropriate internal systems i.e.. SAP, CLM, and Ariba.Manage supplier set up and update process for business partners team.Maintain accurate and complete contract records.Lead RFI and RFP processes with stakeholders to identify, select and engage suppliers to ensure competitive market advantage, leverage spend, improve performance and reduce costs.Recruit and maintain suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree5+ years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing or Contracting roles.Experience leveraging vendor relationships and achieving sizable cost savings from strategic cost reduction programs.Experience managing multiple projects.Experience developing strategies and takes them through implementation.Overall operations/marketplace knowledgeFamiliarity with e-procurement technologies and systems integration.Experience with Excel - Intermediate level, PowerPointTravel required up to 25%Number of days in the office: 3At this time, we require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future.#LI-PM2

Compensation:
Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
