Sr. Registration Rep

Performs all registration functions within the Patient Access department. Accurate collection of information necessary for quality registrations of all patients. Participates in the orientation and training of new registration employees. Reviews exception reports, data quality and delinquent reports relevant to State and Federal regulations. Follows all upfront collections policies and procedures. Performs all job functions in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the Community Healthcare System mission and philosophy.
Education/Experience: High School Graduate or Equivalent Three to Five years previous Registration experience required Insurance follow up, hospital billing skills in a healthcare setting preferred Health Insurance knowledge with Managed Care requirements required Must have ability to train and act as a resource to registration staff Proficiency in computer data/typing with ability to type 35 wpm with accuracy Basic computer skills, Epic experience preferred Excellent written/verbal communication skills required with customer service orientated. Ability to work independently and multi task while working in a collaborative, team environment with a positive attitude Excellent problem solving, organization and analytical skills
