Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing Building Owner sales for Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM). The individual in this role is responsible for expanding Carlisle’s Building Owner customer base and generating revenue through the successful addition of new accounts as well as supporting and growing existing customers. Coordination with contractors, consultants, general contractors, architects and specifiers servicing Building Owners will also be required to ensure success. This job will be expected to perform duties Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Required travel for this position is estimated at 70%. This role is open to remote candidates across the United States.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops a pipeline of prospective customers; initiates contact with key decisions makers; conducts need analysis and proposes solutions that utilize CCM products and services. Utilizing Salesforce CRM, evaluates qualified opportunities within the pipeline, identifies market conditions, and prioritizes opportunities based on known factors to increase CCM close rate, while decreasing the length of the sales cycle. Utilizes knowledge and contacts to expand CCM revenue opportunities and increase name and brand awareness at a national level. Maintains established and develops new Strategic Account relationships with Building Owners, and as necessary general contractors, consultants, general contractors, architects and specifiers. Engages with the CCM organization and culture to create a platform for teamwork to convey the professionalism, energy, and excitement of CCM to prospects and resources in the marketplace. Communicates with management via written correspondence and monthly reports to cover all aspects that impact sales. Other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Office. Knowledge of roofing, roofing practices, roofing products and roofing contractor organizations. Working knowledge of the construction industry and the process of competitive bidding.Education and Experience:
Required: Bachelor’s degree, Business or Marketing focus preferred. Five to ten years in a sales/strategic account environment within the roofing/construction industry demonstrating a strong understanding of strategic selling concepts. Three years’ experience with single-ply roofing products. Preferred: MBA or 10+ years’ experience in building productsWorking Conditions:
