The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supply procurement oversight, financial analysis, and month-end reports
The position will be based at the TAS division’s office in Phoenix, AZ (Tempe), where we are trailblazing the roll out of Autonomous vehicle operations across the US.Benefits may vary depending on location policy. The below represents the standard Corporate Policy. Competitive compensation package of minimum $66,560 – Maximum $87,360 Benefits include:
• Vacation: minimum of one (2) week

Procurement & vendor managementOversight of supply procurement for TASPurchasing, bill coding, and invoice managementCreation & oversight of pre-authorized purchase ordersOverall spend and inventory managementMaintain Facility records and update as neededVendor Relationship ManagementVendor OnboardingIdentifying New Vendors and FacilitiesContract renewalMaintain files on client and vendor contracts, warranties, insurance policies, etc.
Account PayableResearch and resolve AP billing issues.Review vendors’ bills for accuracy and completeness.Research and resolve AP billing issues.Prepare a monthly report reconciling AP invoices with client billings support documentation.Reconcile spend on Company owned accounts and submit reports for approval 
Accounts ReceivablePreparation and review of client billings and the required supporting documentation.Ensure client billings are issued timely and accuratelyMonitor Accounts Receivable (AR) aging and assist with AR cash application questions.
Finance/PayrollAssist as backup for payroll tasks including cutting checks, processing payroll, and resolving payroll issuesPresent on payroll and invoice related analytics for month-end reportingPrepare month end revenue and expense accrualsWork collaboratively with stakeholders on operational budgets
Other tasksIdentify opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity/efficiencyAdhere to and ensure all company policies are followedMaintain Transdev’s high standard of safetyConduct ad hoc analysisPerform additional duties and responsibilities as needed and/or assigned.Required Education and Experience:Must be 21 years of age or older;Bachelor’s Degree in accounting plus 2-3 years of industry experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, general accounting, cost controls, and accrual accountingAbility to understand complex billing and job costing conceptsAdvanced user of Microsoft Excel; ability to create complex spreadsheetsKnowledge of automated accounting system, J.D. Edwards SystemExperience in Budgeting and Forecasting is a plusProficiency with a laptop computer and GSuite apps (i.e. Gmail, Hangouts, and Drive, including Sheets and Docs); Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):Must have good attention to detail.Adapt quickly to new and developing technology;Cross-functional verbal and written communication and issue escalation;Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Good analytical/critical thinking.Must be self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment in ambiguous environments.Travel up to 30% of the timePhysical Requirements:Occasional standing, walking, and sitting.Long periods of sitting.Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.Most work is accomplished indoors.Pre-Employment Requirements:All Transdev employees must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
