This position will support the Corporate Communication team’s strategy and operations functions.
The role will focus on supporting Communications leaders on concept creation, development, and execution of strategic communications, key initiatives, various events, and forums for the division.
The individual will be responsible for streamlining ongoing activities related to the assessment, strategic planning, coordination, and implementation of defined projects that support service, productivity, and improvements. May represent unit (dept) in cross functional, high visibility projects involving business partners outside of the department.
Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate the planning and implementation of new projects, programs, and plans to achieve short and long-term business objectives; coordinate of the design and execution of various projects for the promotion and maintenance of the business.Engage cross-functionally to provide meaningful insights and professionally communicate those insights to management and business partners, or a bank-wide audience.Lead and contribute to BAU reporting and special projects across the department in data analytics producing team reporting, dashboards and analyzing data, drawing insights that will drive for improvements to content and channel strategy, performance, design and delivery as well as team processes/operations.Research, verify, and collaborate with Communications and enterprise stakeholders to create, compose, and publish related communications, articles, and multi-media .Partner with business lines and support functions to be an agent of change, aligning disparate efforts to enterprise strategic commitments.Promote advancement of enterprise-wide communications engagement via presentations for senior leaders.Support continuous improvement of existing processes, develop new processes or enhance existing processes where required including maintenance plans, procedural documentation and custom tools for automation. Identify resources that can be utilized to support business operations or improve existing business processes.Act as lead for team operations support, maintaining team calendars, processes, documents and organizing virtual and physical meetings/events; coordinate with business partners, vendors and technology to address issues for the unit (dept).Perform complex analysis and judgment-based work over multiple disciplines to support business decisions.Maintain project documentation with detailed work plans that communicate project progress.Explore divisional needs, evaluate options, and recommend solutions that drives continuous efficiency to evolve the current state in the operations, routines, and reporting. Coordinate remote and in-person internal events, which includes producing narrative themes, developing executive messaging, coordinate with multiple partners (business and technology), and overseeing event logistics.Lead the creation and maintenance of various reporting dashboards, including but not limited to KPIs around content performance, video performance, channel performance and audience engagement as well as key results metrics.Explore, evaluate, understand, recommend and implement integrated technology solutions to meet communications team needs and drive efficiency, including but not limited to reporting, team operations, team processes and program/project management.Take a lead role in supporting departmental audits including user recerts, compliance testing and departmental controls.Complete tasks in a manner that are compliant with applicable laws and regulations and/or that serve to help the Company be in compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the business line the position supports.Complete other related duties as assigned.Education and Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years related business line experience,
OR in lieu of, A combined minimum of 8 years higher education and/or work experience
Demonstrated collaboration experience with the ability to work autonomously
Ability to balance priorities of multiple projects with varying deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience Preferred:
Experience in public relations, journalism, operations-like roles in different industries
Experience with Excel, Jira, Target Process and/or Power BI
Adaptability and willingness to learn and drive change
