A Structural Engineering firm in Chicago is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their team! Job Description: + Prepare reports, design and construction drawings for buildings (residential and commercial structures) + Complete design calculations and develop calculator packages + Consider strength of construction materials and select appropriately - show familiarity with all typical construction materials + Provide first level QA/QC on designs and drawings + Be experienced with computer design programs, completing structural analysis of framing system for both lateral and vertical components + Have experience with drafting using Revit, RISA-3D, ETABS is a plus + Manage multiple projects within specified timelines Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering + 3+ years of experience + On path to licensure or interest in becoming licensed + Experience working on residential and commercial projects Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $57.69/hr.
