Suites Expeditor

The Role:

Reporting to both Suites and Culinary Management, a Suites Expeditor is responsible for communicating orders and information between the front and back of the house and ensuring that food is cooked properly, efficiently, and presented correctly to guests.

 

Responsibilities:

Event Weeks: Complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training. Coordinate with Management and assist Culinary staff in organizing, labeling, and moving food into proper holding spaces. Event Days: Walk assigned spaces and ensure readiness for Suites Staff and guests’ arrival. Lead the Suites staff to coordinate accurate delivery of orders. Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation. Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained, and items are accurately delivered. Be responsible for safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen spaces including shelves, walls, floors and drains. Participate as a team player as related to preparation, food service, and delivery of product. Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury. Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) to Legends Management on the same day that the incident is reported. Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

Must be at least 18 years of age. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to adapt to change quickly and prioritize tasks as needed. Ability to manage people and resources to get tasks completed. Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment. Two (2) to three (3) years working in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant. Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette. Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work at least the day before an event is preferred. Ability to occasionally lift/move items weighing up to 30 pounds. High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary training preferred. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Must complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.
