Job DescriptionThe Frontline Mountain Sales Agent sells and promotes Aspen Skiing Company products, including lift tickets, season passes, equipment rentals, lessons and activities. The Frontline Mountain Sales Agent engages directly with guests, processes transactions, and delivers exceptional guest service in both indoor and outdoor environments. This role may be based at any Aspen Skiing Company location. This position reports to the Ticket Office Manager.

Essential Job Functions / Key Responsibilities
Sell and promote seasonally offered products and services, including lift tickets, season passes, rentals, lessons, and activities Process transactions, handle payments, and reconcile sales at the workstation Greet and assist guests in various weather conditions, ensuring smooth and efficient lift access Deliver outstanding guest service, adapting to different situations to create a positive experience Research, troubleshoot, and resolve ticket-related issues while following company policies and procedures Stay informed about Aspen Skiing Company’s offerings, events, and software systems through ongoing training Educate guests about Aspen Skiing Company’s environmental initiatives and community programs Other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation & Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Minimum of one year of professional experience required; resort experience preferred Minimum of one year of experience using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong communication and comprehension skills in English Strong cash-handling skills and ability to accurately process transactions Accuracy in processing payments, issuing tickets, and maintaining records Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to ensure seamless guest experiences across departments Ability to interact professionally with guests, resolve concerns, and create a welcoming environment Ability to quickly learn and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, ticketing software, and other digital tools Ability to troubleshoot ticketing or access issues while maintaining company policies Comfortable working in various weather conditions and maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situationsAdditional InformationWork Environment and Physical Demands
