Job Description

Amcor is currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable coworkers to join our production team for the summer of 2025

Shift: Hours will vary depending on the tasks assigned. Expect to work 8 to 12 hour shifts. Flexibility is key, and shifts may change based on operational needs.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS AN INSPECTOR/PACKER:

Inspect and package finished product in a high-speed operationResponsible for safety of yourself and others around youEnsuring quality of the product being manufacturedMaintaining high awareness to waste and productivity standardsTraining of other employees in the positionMaintain housekeeping for assigned areaAssist operator when needed on the machine

WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS A PRESS ASSISTANT:

Provide clean-up for Rotogravure press pansClean and assemble doctor blades for the pressAssist in preparing for jobs by having trolleys, ink and coating ready for the pressLoad and operate parts washing machineFollow all safety rulesAssist operator in setting up and running the adhesive laminatorAssist in preparing for jobs by having trolleys and adhesive equipment ready for the laminatorAssist operators with loading, unloading, and retrieving cylindersLoad rolls of raw material onto the machineAssist in removing converted materialsAssist operator with loading and unloading new cylindersEnsure quality of products produced while job is runningOperate fork trucks and hand jacks as neededKeep general work area and equipment safe and clean including floors, emptying trash and cleaning up ink and coating spillsAssist with other duties as assigned by operators and supervisor

WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS A LAMINATION ASSISTANT:

Provide clean-up for laminator.Clean and assemble doctor blades for the pressAssist in preparing for jobs by having trolleys, ink and coating ready for the pressLoad and operate parts washing machineAssist operator in setting up and running the adhesive laminatorAssist in preparing for jobs by having trolleys and adhesive equipment ready for the laminatorAssist operators with loading, unloading, and retrieving cylindersLoad rolls of raw material onto the machineAssist in removing converted materialsAssist operator with loading and unloading new cylindersEnsure quality of products produced while job is runningFollow all safety rules and procedures
