Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to work on multiple small commercial medical facility renovation projects. The role will primarily be based in Washington, DC, with some work extending into Virginia (NOVA) and Maryland. Initial projects will be located in NOVA, particularly in the upper left corner of Virginia.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee and manage small commercial medical facility renovation projects from conception to completion.
+ Work closely with other team members in the field to ensure smooth project execution.
+ Coordinate and supervise on-site activities to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols on all job sites.
+ Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues.
Essential Skills
+ 1.5+ years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent.
+ Strong leadership and organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Experience working on small interiors projects, preferably in medical or dental facilities.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with construction safety regulations and protocols.
+ Experience with relevant General Contractor (GC) projects.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position where the Superintendent will work closely with other team members in the field. The role involves active engagement with project stakeholders, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
