Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

This position involves direct contact with multiple departments within the manufacturing site and supports customer requests related to supplied parts. The primary responsibility of the Supplier Quality Engineer is to ensure that raw materials and components meet all regulatory, customer, and design requirements. The role also involves managing supplier change points, providing support to suppliers, and leading corrective actions and reporting for supplier-related internal and customer complaints. This position offers opportunities to work with various aspects of the manufacturing processes, departments, and levels of management within the company, suppliers, and customers both domestically and internationally.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. The standard work schedule is a day shift from Monday through Friday, with an average of around 45 hours per week. The position requires up to 20% travel to visit suppliers, with most travel being 1-2 times a month or less to suppliers within the region/driving distance. The role also requires flexibility to work all shifts and days as needed, and the ability to work for long periods while sitting, standing, walking, and bending.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
