Surgical Technologist
Department: Operating Room - In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.
Location: Chelsea, MI
Pay: $25.07-36.36 per hour based upon applicable experience + shift premiums (when working afternoons, overnights and weekends)

Position Purpose:
Utilizes the principles and practices of surgical asepsis in the preparation of surgical instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments to surgeons within the sterile field. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by demonstrating knowledge of surgical procedures and the anatomy and physiology of the human body.
Shift Available: Rotating Shift –72 hours per pay period (Every two weeks)
Status Available: Full time (benefit eligible)
On-call required
Required Qualifications
Minimum of high school diploma
Graduation from a certified surgical technologist program and current Surgical Technologist Certification is required
