Description We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in Greer, South Carolina. This long-term contract position requires expertise in managing virtualized environments and system migrations, with a focus on technologies like Hyper-V, VMware, and Active Directory. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a dedicated IT team and contribute to critical infrastructure projects. Responsibilities: • Lead efforts in migrating virtual machines from VMware to Hyper-V while ensuring minimal disruption to system operations. • 6+ month contract Configure and maintain infrastructure to support hybrid deployments involving Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. • Manage on-premises and cloud-based environments while ensuring seamless integration between systems. • Participate in planning and executing high-priority IT projects within established deadlines. • Monitor system health and proactively address potential vulnerabilities. • Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and resolutions for future reference Requirements • Proven expertise in managing Hyper-V and VMware environments. • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. • Experience with Okta and hybrid system deployments. • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional IT team. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
