About the Role:

Responsible for ensuring the availability of external equipment and the building by performing quality preventive and predictive maintenance. In addition, he solves emergent failures taking care of intervention times and applying equipment troubleshooting methodologies and analysis to ensure that the root cause eliminates the different failure modes.


What You Will Do:

Maintain your area and production lines under a 5s standard, perform 5s audits.Execute assigned tasks following safety guidelines to prevent accidents.Detect and eliminate conditions that may cause work accidents (unsafe conditions).Execute preventive maintenance activities based on predefined routines, in addition to proposing new tasks based on their experience to ensure the functionality of the equipment.Support the production area in case of emergent failures corresponding to our area, solving the problem in an effective way and taking care of the equipment intervention time so that it does not affect deliveries.Attend activities derived from Dry run, Gemba, internal or external audits, 5s, among others.Close preventive and corrective maintenance work orders performed during the workday.Participate in troubleshooting according to the requirements of the maintenance department and involve other areas in the realization of these.Implement Kaizen and A3 according to department requirements. At least one per month.Send daily work reports, mentioning the most important activities and breakdowns, how they were solved, intervention time and pending activities to give timely follow up.Participate in SQDC departmental meetings to give and receive feedback.Attend all scheduled courses, whether physical or virtual, and pass the evaluations.


What You Need to Be Successful:

Integrity.Innovation.Inclusion.Teamwork & Respect.Excellence.Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.Knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and cooling systems.Manual dexterity and problem solving skills.Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical, electronic system schematics and technical manuals.Handling hand tools, measuring electrical equipment and theory,Attend to verbal and/or written instructions from company supervisory personnel, co-workers and representatives.Able to create and process work orders within a computerized maintenance management system.Experience in electrical, pneumatic and/or related installations. No fear of heights preferred.2-4 Years of related experience
