Job Title: TechnicianJob Description As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations by accepting requests from customers and retrieving necessary samples, standards, reagents, and consumables. You will also be responsible for assembling and delivering kits for laboratory use, entering transactions into SAP, LabWare, and Ariba, and preparing samples for delivery to the warehouse. Responsibilities + Accept customer requests and retrieve samples, standards, reagents, and consumables. + Assemble and deliver kits, including worksheets, chemicals, and glassware for laboratory use. + Enter transactions into SAP, LabWare, and Ariba to account for customer requests. + Collect samples/standards when lab need is complete and prepare them for delivery to the warehouse for destruction. + Prepare samples and perform cleaning validation/verifications. + Troubleshoot entry errors in LabWare, issues in locating standard samples, or any ordering issues. Essential Skills + Science and laboratory preparation skills. + Strong communication skills. + Proficiency in documentation processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or Associate degree in a Science field, or Pharmacy Technician certification. + Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in pharmacy or laboratory settings are preferred. + Prior inventory management skills are a plus. Work Environment You will work in a chemical stockroom environment, dealing with multiple products, reagents, and drugs. The role involves collaboration within a team of six and interaction with various personnel on-site. The dress code is business casual, and there are two shifts available: 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and 3rd shift from Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
