Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technician with a passion for electromechanical systems. This role is vital in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical products, contributing to high-quality production standards and supporting various safety and process improvement initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble and test electromechanical products while carefully following work instructions.Troubleshoot small electromechanical products and test equipment.Interpret engineering prints and schematics.Interpret and develop production documents, including work instructions and checklists.Train production employees on safety, quality, and processes.Support all safety and quality initiatives including 5S, ESD, and FOD.Support process improvements.Perform other related duties as required.Essential SkillsAssociate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or relevant technical degree.1-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience with electromechanical products and mechanical assembly.Industrial panel wiring expertise.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems is preferred.Proficiency in Solidworks and diagnostics.Candidates from defense or medical device industries are considered.Current students able to work part or full-time on contract are welcomed.Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and clean within a manufacturing facility. Working hours are from 7 am to 4 pm with potential overtime. The facility offers a 30-minute lunch break with small breaks throughout the day. The robotics industry in Pittsburgh is expanding, presenting opportunities for growth. Employees enjoy daily catered lunches.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
