Job Title: SAS Technician III

Job Description

As a SAS Technician III, you will be responsible for building mechanical and opto-mechanical assemblies. You will support development, prototyping, and failure investigations, as well as install and dress fiber optic and electrical cables. You will work closely with design engineers on early hardware builds, contributing to the assembly of prototypes in a challenging and innovative environment.

You will be working onsite in Redmond, WA, within a multi-discipline team responsible for developing high bandwidth systems for free space optical communication between satellites. The role involves building and testing fiber optical assemblies and supporting the assembly and testing of free space optical assemblies. The work environment is dynamic, requiring you to tackle challenging and novel situations daily. Masks are required while working in the facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $64.00/hr.
