Technology Group Business Development Specialist

JMT Technology Group, a leading geospatial, software, and information technology solutions provider, is looking for results-oriented Business Development Specialist to help grow our Technology Group practice.  The selected candidate will assist with driving new business to the company through relationship-building, creativity, and strategic thinking.

Compensation for this position is $88,000.00 - $100,000.00, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. We notice that we receive a wide variety of applicants and recognize that the person selected may be less experienced or more experienced. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.

Essential functions and responsibilities

Drive new business by building relationships not only with outside customers but within the company. Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach. Work with the team to implement effective campaigns that market our solutions and services. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities. Track Business Development Opportunities using CRM software.  Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.  Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.  Conduct presentations, pitches, and proposals to potential clients.  Execute and participate in operations for conferences, events, etc.  Track and report on business development activities, performance, and results.
