In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Markets business including Equity, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Workflow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses. ERTF – CFO is responsible for the technology solutions and platforms that support Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group, including Global Financial Control, Corporate Treasury, Financial Forecasting, Enterprise Cost Management, Investor Relations, and Line of Business Finance functions (BFO).

Increased demand for integrated and streamlined Business Finance management solutions has resulted in a few initiatives. The initiatives span across Subledger Simplification.

Job Description

Technology Manager for Business Finance office with strong and a varied set of technologies –Java, Python, React JS, and PL/SQL. He should support Technical design/architecture along with leading a team of 10 ++ members on Ledger strategy and  Green sheets reporting applications.

Responsibilities

Have a good understanding of the E2E process knowledge in Global markets.Have a good understanding of all aspects Subledger business.Strong hands experience in Java/ Python and related frameworksWork with the Business Analysts during the UAT phase and support the UAT.Lead a team of around 15 member and support the delivery efforts in subledger space.Work with the Production Support Team during the Production Release cycle and provide support for the release.

Requirements

Education: BE/B Tech/MCA

Certifications if any: NA

Experience Range: 13 to 16 years

Foundational skills

A strong experience on Core Java, Multithreading, and Spring boot10+ years of Java/ Python experience (Multi-Threading, QZ,  ORM libraries, Web framework[Django/Flask]

Candidate should be hands on for around 70 % in coding

4+ years of React experience5+ years of People management experience.UNIX programming and shell scriptingGood PL/SQL experience with Relational database [MS SQL/Oracle] programmingStrong unit test and debugging skills.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

Desired skills:

React and PL/SQL

Financial Services Industry experienceExperience developing Global markets applications.Led programs delivery.
