SALARY: $20.00 per hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Involved in sample preparation procedures as well as routine analysis while maintaining sample integrityUsing different laboratory equipment to gather physical and chemical data and reporting those resultsUse of computer based programs such as MS Excel to collect data and make decisionsUse of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to complete work tasksFollow all plant and safety policiesFollow oral and written instructionsOther routine tasks as necessaryWork in other departments as time and activities allow

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education requirements - High School Diploma or GEDMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to work in varying temperatures and climatesAbility to continuously stand, bend or twist and lift items up to 50 pounds requiredExperience in agriculture, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology or related field helpfulBasic knowledge of wet chemistry laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipmentValid driver’s licenseTeam player with good communication skills
