Description: The Therapist reports to the AVP of Behavioral Health and provides outpatient psychotherapy to clients at the Urban Dreams location (1615 2nd Ave. Des Moines, IA 50314). The Therapist works in collaboration with Urban Dreams staff, BMC clinical staff, and community providers to offer high quality integrated services. 

Prerequisite:

Must have experience engaging and treating at risk and minority populations.

Prefer

-LISW or LMHC

-2+ years experience providing therapy services in a community mental health setting.

-Experience in managing crisis situations in an independent area or practice.

-Experience in the treatment of those with substance use issues and trauma histories.

-Experience as an independent therapist in a low income/poverty setting.
