Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG/MIG Welder for our 1st shift in Plant 1. The role primarily involves custom TIG welding on fabricated steel structures, but candidates must be adept in both MIG and TIG welding, as well as capable of working from complex blueprints. Proficient blueprint reading skills are essential, as is the ability to fabricate and weld small to large steel and aluminum structures. The TIG welding will be performed using Pedal TIG welding techniques. Approximately 80% of the work involves TIG welding, with the remaining 20% being MIG welding.

Work Environment
You will be working in a facility that manufactures a variety of sheet metal products, including Thermo King, Delkor, and Beckman-Coulter products. The position is for the 2nd shift (3:30pm-2:00am). Given the custom nature of our welding work, experience is highly valued. Projects range from welding custom computer cabinets to large frames for the oil industry, with metal thickness ranging from 3/32 to 1/2 inch. Materials include aluminum, low carbon steel, and various stainless steels. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr.
