As a Transportation Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind the seamless movement of freight across a complex network. From vendors and fulfillment centers to rail yards and shipper hubs, you’ll ensure every shipment arrives on time. When disruptions occur, you’ll be the first to respond—analyzing data, resolving issues, and keeping stakeholders informed.

What You’ll DoCoordinate and Communicate: Work closely with customers, carriers, railroads, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.Analyze and Act: Use tools like Excel and SQL to pull data, spot trends, and drive performance improvements.Problem-Solve in Real Time: Address disruptions quickly and effectively, using data to make informed decisions.Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide real-time support in a high-speed environment, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.Track and Report: Monitor performance metrics, escalate issues, and follow through on resolutions.What You BringExperience: 1+ years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), SQL, and inventory management systems.Analytical Mindset: Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills.Communication: Clear verbal and written communication to collaborate and report effectively.Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Bonus PointsHigh school diploma or equivalent (required).Experience with intermodal, railroad, or maritime logistics.Familiarity with inventory control methodologies.Willingness to work overtime when needed.A positive attitude and a commitment to safety and teamworkPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
