Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Opportunity Details:

Perform advanced and highly specialized surgical procedures in acute care, general surgery, trauma surgery, including surgical critical care Provide trauma call coverage and contribute to the SICU, Trauma, and Acute Surgery services, while also maintaining a general surgery elective practice Supervise, teach, and mentor house staff, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students as part of a collaborative surgical team Participate in weekly staff conferences Support the maintenance and improvement of clinical performance standards for physicians and other professional staff within the service Perform related duties as assigned by the Chief or Director of Service
