Traveling Superintendent
Job Description

This position will be supporting a 2-year multi-family project in Philadelphia, PA. Interested candidates will need to travel to Columbus, OH to work and train with the company prior to starting on the project in Philadelphia in the fall.

ResponsibilitiesProfessionally represent the company and effectively support company strategic initiatives.Demonstrate strong knowledge of commercial construction and exceptional jobsite management skills; deliver on key projects and commitments via professional knowledge and leadership abilities.Develop and maintain positive long-term relationships with subcontractors and business partners.Possess detailed process and application knowledge relating to building codes, budget management, construction practices, project scheduling, etc.Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining team focus on safety, quality, and budget.Fully understand and effectively utilize drawings, specifications, subcontract agreements, and purchase orders.Assist the Project Manager with material delivery schedules and effectively manage the change management process.Assume primary responsibility for leading, implementing, and enforcing jobsite safety requirements and the company's Quality Assurance Program.Lead and/or assist with job set-up, communications, safety compliance, record-keeping, quality control, and closeout as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management (or related field) desired but not required4+ years of commercial construction experience as a SuperintendentExperience in ground up multi-family construction is preferred. Will consider high rise, Sr. Living, Hotel project experience
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
