With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails being responsible for daily and monthly treasury accounting functions, such as managing cash and preparing reports. The Treasury Analyst I ensures the company complies with legal and debt obligations and analyzes and reports on any unexpected changes in cash balances or overall cash transactions. This position conducts detailed analysis and financial modeling to evaluate cash, debt, and ownership in support of the firm's strategic planning process and prepares reports for executive and board-level consumption, including ad-hoc analysis for firmwide initiatives.
What You'll Do:
Generates, creates, and evaluates standard financial analysis under minimal guidance.Reviews daily cash receipts and prepares daily/weekly cash reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Supports the maintenance of the cash forecasting model and escalates potential issues.Reviews payments for outstanding debt, letters of credit, and revolving lines of credit, ensuring compliance with debt covenants.Reviews transactions using the Master Lease Agreement with Commerce Bank, ensuring accurate recording of transactions.Supports the unclaimed property process to ensure compliance with state laws.Reviews accounting transactions for the Company's benefit plans for accuracy.Assists in conducting financial analysis, including trend analysis and variance analysis, to support the firm's capital planning process.Supports the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for the Corporate Finance department.Supports the maintenance of schedules and applications related to ownership, stock options, shareholder notes, and treasury stock.Assist in providing decision support and financial analysis to leadership, supporting firmwide Treasury, Tax, Real Estate, and Procurement initiatives and decision-making.Performs other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related degree, orIn lieu of education, 4 years of accounting, treasury, and cash management experienceWhat You'll Bring:
Developing expertise in basic treasury and financial analysis concepts.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy.Ability to work in a team environment, following guidance from senior staff and collaborating effectively with colleagues.Intermediate in Excel.Ability to analyze and solve basic financial problems under guidance from senior staff.What We Prefer:
