Job Summary
The Vascular Ultrasonographer performs diagnostic non-invasive vascular examinations utilizing advanced ultrasound techniques. The purpose of this role is to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various vascular conditions by providing high-quality imaging and preliminary analysis. This position requires a deep understanding of vascular anatomy and hemodynamics, as well as proficiency in operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment. The Technologist will work closely with patients, ensuring comfort and safety while obtaining accurate diagnostic data.

Qualifications
Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology preferred or Associate Degree Graduate of an Accredited Sonography program required required or 0-1 years Clinical experience in Vascular Sonography procedures required 2-4 years Clinical experience in Vascular Sonography procedures preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Attention to detail and concentration Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment Compassionate and patient demeanor to provide a positive patient experience Expertise in operating ultrasound equipment and related technology Comprehensive understanding of vascular anatomy and cross-sectional anatomy Conduct radiographic procedures autonomously, without ongoing supervision Produce and evaluate ultrasound images and data to ensure accuracy for physician diagnosis Maintain and order supplies and equipment necessary for radiographic procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members Capability to troubleshoot equipment issues and adapt to different patient needs Knowledge of safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and prevent injuriesLicenses and Certifications
RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist registered by ARMDS required or ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registry in VS required or RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer registered by CCI required BCLS - Basic Life Support required
