About the role

As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible to perform a variety of operational tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic industrial environment to support Reworld's industrial disposal process.

Position Responsibilities:Perform routine inspections of the overhead cranes and grapples to ensure the integrity of the equipmentPerform various hands-on tasks required for operation of the plant such as charging the feed hoppers, maintaining the correct levels of refuse fuel in the boiler hoppers, mix and level refuse in the pitLoad ash trucks using overhead crane and various types of industrial equipmentParticipate in routine boiler shutdownsMix and level refuse in the industrial pitSafely operate front end loaders to manage refuse and materials delivered to tipping floor for processingSupervise and observe delivery trucks hauling materials to the tipping floorInspect delivered refuse, waste, and materials, and determine appropriate process for disposalPerform routine housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor

Position Requirements & Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMust have at least one year of previous experience in the operation of heavy industrial machinery or demonstrated mechanical aptitude.Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule
