VCA Arroyo Grande Animal Hospital is a 5 doctor, general practice, seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

What You'll Do:

Support veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures

Handle and care for pets with compassion and confidence

Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment and exam areas

Assist with patient intake, record-keeping, and client communication

Ensure a safe and calm environment for pets and their owners

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.

A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic

Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Willingness to learn and grow with the team

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $19-$22 per hour.
