Vice President, Hotel Lifecycle & Growth Construction
**The Role** As the VP Hotel Lifecycle & Growth Construction, you will hotel renovation functions in the Americas region with an owner centric and IHG collective mindset. This team supports owners through the design/planning/construction journey to deliver high-quality, on-brand hotel conversion openings, mid-cycle renovations, and re-license renovations. You will bring your experience to bear as a leader who understands the hotel operations, opening & renovation processes, with solid background in asset and project management. **Your Day-to-Day** + Leads the Hotel Lifecycle Construction function to become best in class in supporting owners to go through the renovation journey while driving key metrics that support Net System Size Growth including pace of ground breaks, openings, conversions & license renewals. + Owns hotel renovations from signing to opening/re-opening for Essentials & Suites brands, creating efficient, effective, owner centric process to improve speed and delivery. + Within the CMH portfolio, oversee cyclical capital refurbishment and expansion capital projects (i.e., acquisitions, new builds, renovations) involving IHG investment (often $20M+ per renovation and more than 100 HPT renovations with $30M+ capex reinvestment annually). + Supports compliance of architectural and engineering specifications, Fire, Life & Safety and environmental requirements with IHG standards and specifications + Working with Brand-led, dedicated cross-functional project resources and teams, leads design, design innovation and technical aspects of EC-approved regional and global growth initiatives. Ensures these are delivered on brand and with an owner mindset. + Manages the team to deliver different work products, from high-volume PIPs for mainstream to bespoke plans for larger, full-service hotels. + Provides coaching and thought leadership and actively works to attract and retain specialized talent, and effectively role models effective cross-functional leadership. **What we need from you** + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Architecture, Asset Management and/or a relevant experience + 12+ years related work experience leading design, architecture, and construction of hotels or similar multi-unit residential buildings. Knowledge of hotel operations and franchise development + Effectively lead large organization that can create positive engagement and a result-driven mindset for a highly efficient, effective and engaged team. + Deep strategic understanding of IHG’s business goals, industry dynamics and owners’ expectations and strong ability to think from a macro and micro perspective. + Strong influencing skills to sustain high impact relationships with key stakeholders and results delivery. + Experience leading cross functional teams, driving system or culture change, communicating, and collaborating effectively with senior leadership in a complex matrix organization. + An experienced leader who understands hotel opening process and operations with solid background in asset management and project management **Location:** Atlanta, GA. Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business. **Travel:** 30-40% **The salary range for this role is $147,084 to $258,000** . This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable).
