Our organization requires extraordinary people to provide extraordinary care, so we are investing in a culture that attracts, hires and retains the best and brightest talent in healthcare. **Job Description Summary:** Oversee the strategy and management and direction of all aspects of product life cycle management that meet market and user requirements and that facilitate rapid development, implementation, buy-in and adoption of new products and enhancements. **Job Description:** ​ Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent) + Responsible for understanding market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field + Ensures the product roadmap supports the goals and strategy of the business and reflects market intelligence and customer needs + Oversees the technology lifecycle of new products, features or enhancements from conceptualization, requirements gathering, product specification, implementation review, and release + Makes appropriate trade-offs to optimize time to market + Closely monitors, measures, and interprets key product and team performance metrics + Cultivates and maintains relationships with the company’s senior leadership and business personnel. Builds the trust and confidence needed to effectively deal with highly sensitive issues and situations. + Oversees and directs the work of managers and their subordinates. Obtains and allocates resources to meet operating plans. Ensures the ongoing training and development of direct reports. Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace. (i.e. hiring, recommending/approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc.) No Yes - X Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements + Bachelor’s degree + At least five (5) years of IT leadership experience in healthcare or related field directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work + At least ten (10) years of progressive IT job experience. Basic Qualifications + Must be a forward-thinking business technology leader with experience driving technology delivery, innovation, and operational excellence in a high-growth, customer-facing environment. + Must be a strategic, collaborative, and influential figure, adept at working across businesses and functions, with the proven ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organization + Ability to lead & manage high priority projects, with a fine balance of tactical acumen and strategic understanding of the OCH business and operations. + Strong technology background, including understanding of technical capabilities on mobile and web platforms + Experience building product development best practices and drawing clarity around product development tools and process + Track record of having led product org with multiple product teams successfully including a track record of successful internal and external products + Strong communication skills and a bold, proactive, and pioneering mindset to help chart a new path and strategy. + Ability to influence and drive outcomes + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly on challenging, complex, and difficult issues to develop solutions to address root causes + Proven experience delivering advanced data analytics solutions for customers. + Proven experience integrating commercial and proprietary software and data solutions.0 + Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables + Ability to motivate a team, communicate clear expectations and take corrective action when needed + Proven experience managing multiple complex initiatives involving integration of disparate systems and processes + Proven financial acumen, especially with budget management, capital management, and contractual pricing negotiations. Travel Requirements: (if required) Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs) + Master’s degree or MBA in related field + Previous experience working in the healthcare industry + Experience with a Product Management methodology (Pragmatic Institute preferred) + Previous project management experience, including scheduling, budgeting and resource planning Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below: Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
